Questions, a rule that looks wrong, or an idea? Write to support@wagebee.app. Tell us your overtime rules (for example, California), your pay period, and the shifts that don't add up — we'll check the calculation.
My pay looks different from Wagebee's estimate
Check three settings in the job: the overtime rules, when your workweek and workday start (your employer sets these), and your pay period. Overtime for a workweek that ends in the next pay period is paid in that period. Unpaid meal breaks lower your hours; paid rest breaks don't.
I forgot to clock in or out
Tap the shift to fix the times, or add it with +. Turn on “Remind me to clock out” in the job settings, or let Wagebee remind you when you arrive at and leave work.
Clocking in by location doesn't work
Allow location access “Always” for Wagebee in Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services. Make the circle a little larger if your workplace is big. iOS may notice you arriving a few minutes late; the shift starts at the time iOS reports, and you can always fix it.
Bringing your shifts from another app
In the other app, export your shifts as a CSV file. In Wagebee: the share menu › Back up and restore › Import shifts from a CSV file. Wagebee recognizes the date, time, break and rate columns by their headers; check them, then import. The shifts go to your current job.
Apple Watch shows old numbers
Open Wagebee on your iPhone once — the watch gets the latest pay and hours. Taps on the watch are kept and sent when your iPhone is back in range.
Moving to a new iPhone
On the old phone: the share menu › Back up and restore › Back up all data, and save the file to Files or iCloud Drive. On the new phone: Restore from a backup. To get Pro back, open Wagebee Pro and tap Restore Purchases.
Cancel a subscription
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Wagebee. Your hours stay in the app after Pro ends.
